Ghana’s senior women’s national team will face South Africa, Cameroon, and Algeria in Group B at the 2014 African Women’s Championship later this year.
The Black Queens will take their place in the tournament to be staged by Namibia from 11-24 October.
The final draw took place on Saturday evening in Windhoek, Namibia, placing the 8 teams in the African women’s competition into two separate groups.
The final tournament will also serve the continental qualifier for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada next year.
Group A – Namibia, Zambia, Nigeria, Cote d’Ivoire
Group B – South Africa, Cameroon, Algeria, Ghana
