Ex Arsenal Academy Striker, Emmanuel Adewole invites sporting braga to make offer
Former Arsenal youth striker, Emmanuel Adewole, is now a free agent after he opted against pursing the one-year clause inserted into his contract with Bangladeshi Premier League team, Sheikh Russel KC.
SL10.ng understands that the striker’s search for a new employer may come to an end in the coming weeks, as he is attracting interest from Portuguese setup Sporting Braga.
Literally, Emmanuel Adewole is down on his knees pleading with Braga to step up their interest with the official offer of a contract though a verbal personal agreement is thought to have been reached between his agent and the club.
”Braga are a big club in Europe, a recognised club across the world and with players like Elderson Echiejile having been at the club, it’s an opportunity that does not come around too often.
”It will be catastrophic to turn down such an offer and I really do hope the interest shown by them develops into a formal transfer,” Emmanuel Adewole said to SL10.ng.
Manisaspor, Turkey as well as an unnamed team in Russia are also mulling over offering the 24-year-old a contract.
And he would resume negotiations with both teams if he does not get a positive feedback from Sporting Braga.
