The Stromgsgodset skipper believes he has been given a raw deal by the technical team of the Black Stars but remains unfazed for telling the truth
Ghana goalkeeper Adam Larsen Kwarasey is not bothered to have been left out in the Black Stars squad for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Uganda and Togo.
The Norway-born shot-stopper criticised Ghana’s goalkeepers’ trainer Nassamu Yakubu over his training methods and coach Kwesi Appiah for allegedly bowing to pressure to remove him from the starting lineup a few hours before the clash against Germany at the World Cup.
“No one forced me to say something,” Kwarasey told BT. “I said what I felt about what I experienced during the World Cup. Notwithstanding, it’s not my problem.”
“I do not see the reason why I should be removed from the team based on what I said. The other keepers they have called all are in their off season.”
He added: “I think what I said was misunderstood by some people. The stuff there that was not good. When I said that I support them (Muntari and Boateng), I believe that everyone has his limit. They were pushed to their limit and stood up for themselves and the rest of us.”
