PHOTO: Kumawood ‘mocks’ Castro and Janet’s tragedy?

10525756_613820258731241_4198342253542725576_nThe Ghanaian populace understand how creative the Kumawood Producers are. According to credible sources, they sometimes use less than 3 days to shoot a movie, they as well portray current Ghanaian issues in their movies.

To the surprise of www.233times.net, a new movie which is out in stores is ‘Castro Amanihunu’ (The tragedy of Castro). The Castro-Janet Bandu tragedy is not new to Ghanaians but for the benefit of those who are hearing it for the first time, the Artiste and a female friend went jet skiing and are missing. They have been missing for more than 3 weeks and marine police are still searching for the two but to no avail.

Although www.233times.net has not had the chance to watch the movie in question, the title clearly gives idea what the movie will be all about. No one and I repeat, no one has idea how Castro and Janet mysteriously disappeared so the story of this movie would be obviously speculations and ‘mockery.’

Produced by Odame Films, the million dollar question which comes to mind is, is this movie to mock the tragedy or to depict the creative side of the Kumawood Producer? And as usual, it is part 1 and 2.
