Anita De-Soso to Mahama: Sack all old civil servants at Ministries

892520055_620982Whenever the name “Mugabe” is mentioned, one is likely to consider Zimbabwean revolutionary politician, who has been president of the of the Southern African nation since 1988.

Arguably, Robert Gabriel Mugabe is the longest serving African leader in Africa who’s no nonsense attitude and resentment of the Western world appears mutual. Some Western leaders want to see the back of him just as much as he does.

And it seems there is also no love lost when it comes to However, just as many wants Mugabe to retire the presidency, a National Democratic Congress [NDC] Women’s Organiser, Anita De Sooso has appealed to president John Dramani Mahama to with immediate effect “sack” all civil servants who need to be on retirement yet serving at various ministries.

According to her, the ministries and other state institutions are been manned by aged servants whose contribution towards national development is insignificant after describing some as crooks; only interested in stealing from government coffers.

Speaking on Adom FM, the Deputy National Coordinator of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) in Charge of Logistics counseled President Mahama that, unless the “Mugabe’s” are kick out from all government institutions, his desire to rid the country of corruption will be a mirage.

“The president [Mahama] must sack all those who have served at the ministries and various government institutions who have at post for years. Some are supposed to go on retirement yet they are there doing nothing. If the president really wants to fight corruption, then he muck sack all the Mugabes,” he opined.
