ENOUGH!: ‘Yawa Boy’ Akoo Nana should stop the childishness

akoo-nanaA talent which is struggling to stay relevant and using all means to get on front page of major news outlets, Akoo Nana has for the past few weeks displayed immaturity to the acme.

Real name William Ankrah, Akoo Nana released a song (Yawa) boasting he is being chased by girlfriends of Celebrities in Ghana. With his major attack launch on DKB, Akoo Nana attracted some media attention for this irrelevance.

If Coca Cola is still advertising, then no one can undermine the strength of publicity but what Akoo Nana is failing to realize is that, whoever gave him this idea to promote this talentless song ‘Yawa’ this way did him a great harm.

Honestly DKB, the reigning ‘King of Comedy’ in Ghana should not have paid attention to such immature and attention-seeking song from Akoo Nana who is even confused as to the best stage name which suits his epileptic talent.

“But Akoo Nana too he be yawa boy so? Why he dey go about saying all the musicians dema girls dey like am?” this was what a Junior High School (JHS) 2 Student asked me when he heard how unashamed Akoo Nana is granting interviews on an entertainment show in Accra.

I am made to believe that, Akoo Nana is managing himself or better yet being managed by someone who is clueless about effects of publicity and in support of the popular parlance “there is no bad publicity” (ask Tiger Woods and Michael Jackson is there is no bad publicity).

D-Black, DSP Kofi Sarpong, DKB among others suffered this musical attack from the ‘rumoured’ Chief (Akoo Nana) in Central Region.

Akoo Nana, “a gentleman doesn’t kiss and tell” so advice yourself and come again.
