Former Black Stars coach,Kwesi Appiah is demanding unpaid allowances from the Ghana FA or will take legal action against the GFA if they refuse to pay his unpaid rent allowance.
The GFA parted ways with Appiah by mutual consent last week which has now set the ground for the lawyers of both parties to agree on his parting fee.
Talks have reportedly already begun over the payment of severance package to the dismissed gaffer who has been under pressure following Ghana’s abysmal showing at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
According to sources, Coach Appiah’s legal advisers have already written to the Ghana FA to hand over the amount due for his unpaid rent allowance.
“Kwesi Appiah is yet to receive his allowances for the Togo and Uganda game, likewise the winning bonus for the Togo game,” a close source to the coach revealed
Meanwhile, the GFA have asked the former Black Stars coach to return all the FA items in his possession.
Over 32 coaches have applied for the Black Stars coaching job.
The GFA says it will announce Appiah’s replacement before October’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Guinea. Meanwhile Coach Kwesi Appiah is to appear on thursday at the Presidential Commission.
