LIST: Latest FIFA ranking; Ghana placed 33rd

264302_heroaThe Black Stars remained fourth in Africa and shot to the 33rd spot across the world with Algeria ruling the continent

Ghana moved up three steps to place 33rd in the latest Fifa/Coca Cola rankings and fourth in Africa.

The four-time Africa champions drew against Uganda and won their last game against the Hawks of Togo in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The Black Stars who were at the 36th spot last month follow immediately after Tunisia (31) on the continent. Algeria top in Africa and placed 20th in the world and are followed by Ivory Coast (22) before the Carthage Eagles and the Black Stars.

World champions Germany ranked top globally with Argentina in second. Colombia reached their highest placing on the table after leapfrogging The Netherlands into third place.
