The deceased, Nyamekye and Yaw, between 10 and 12 years were reported to have ignored an advice by a third colleague not to swim in the river
A source in the community tells me the 2, all residents of Apowa, an adjoining community went to Ewusiejoe with their colleague in the afternoon on Sunday to visit the relatives of the 3rd colleague and the 2 decided to swim on arrival

They reportedly drowned a few minutes after entering into the river arround 1pm
The bodies which were retrieved after about 20 hours of drowning are being conveyed to the morgue by the search Party

Helina Yankey, a devastated guardian of one of the deceased tells me another parent who was so traumatised has been rushed home
