The National Health Students, Association of Ghana (NAHSAG) is the mother union of all health trainees in disciplines including, but not limited to nursing, medicine, pharmacy, public health, hygiene, allied health et cetera in Ghana.
The association will climax its 2013/14 administrative year with a residential delegates’ Congress. The constitutionally-mandated event will seek to elect new officers, receive reports, discuss health-related topics, evaluate the year under review, formulate policies and to consider pertinent matters that concern students of the health sector of the country.
This year’s which is fused with a Scientific Conference is scheduled for 30th October – 2nd November, 2014 at Nightingale School of Nursing in Adenta, Accra.
The debut Scientific Conference will provide a platform for discussion among other things diseases and research findings on health problems to increase knowledge of participants and to make effective recommendations and proposals to find last solutions to them.
The 9th edition which is under the theme, ‘Enhancing the Road Map to Achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), The Role of the Ghanaian Health Students’ will be graced by the Minister of Health and the Director General of Health Services.
