Last Saturday, 25^th October, 2014, online news portal www.233times.net in collaboration with www.satelliteghana.com and Film Production Company, Chrisland Production donated to the Maternity Ward of the Takoradi Hospital, locally known as European Hospital.

The donation dubbed ‘Our Contribution,’ was coupled with clean up exercise by the attendees who helped to keep the facility tidy. The items worth thousands of Ghana Cedis include dozens of bed sheets and pillow cases, syringes, pillows, makintosh bedspread, sanitizers, breast watches for nurses, gloves, sweeping broom and brushes, mopping buckets and brushes, knapsack sprayer, toiletries, detergents, cotton, curtains among others.

Doctor Emmanuel Coomson, a senior Doctor at the facility tour-guided the attendees at the facility. They visited the female ward, male ward, isolation centre, OPD and the mortuary.

Popular donors include Model Kode, 619 Entertainment, J. Farikahn Music, Tru Cleaners, Psypharilla Music group and countless ghost sponsors. The event was covered by Ghana Television (GTV) News at 7.

The organizers, Nana Kwesi Coomson, Bruno Koomson and Titus Egirkum, CEOs of www.233times.net , www.satelliteghana.com and Chrisland Productions respectively expressed their gratitude to the donors and asked for God’s blessings on them. According to them, this won’t be the last time they will be embarking on such philanthropy as preparation for another one is underway.
