According to Citi FM’s Fred Dajabanor, the “two journalists who were from TV3 and Multi TV, were beaten up when they attempted taking photos and videos of Ali Gabass”

The medical doctor, Ali Gabass who  is standing trail for allegedly sodomising a minor was earlier remanded in prison custody until November 7,2014.

An Accra Circuit Court ordered his remand for further investigations into the case.

The victim reportedly met Ali Gabass on Facebook.

They are said to have chatted online and communicated on phone for a while.

The suspect subsequently arranged and met the victim at the Kasoa Market area last year where he forcibly had sex with him in his car.

On December 28, 2013, the suspect again met the victim and had sex with him.

Three health bodies, including a regulator, earlier assured Ghanaians that they will not shield Dr Sulley Ali-Gabass from any legal process being pursued by mandated constitutional bodies in his alleged sodomy case.

In a related development, Ali Gabass has pleaded not guilty to the charges levelled against him.

He has been remanded in prison custody and is expected to re-appear in Court on November, 25, 2014.
