Stand-in coach Maxwell Konadu has given a call-up to the Saudi Arabia-based forward in the absence of injured Gyan as the Black Stars face the Cranes and Hawks

Striker Emmanuel Osei Banahene of Al Orobah, Saudi Arabia has earned his debut senior call-up in Ghana’s squad for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures against Uganda and Togo.

Acting Black Stars coach Maxwell Konadu Sunday unveiled a 23-man roster for the double header. Banahene is replacing captain Asamoah Gyan who is injured.

The four-time African champions who are on top of their group with eight points will begin training Tuesday in Accra ahead of their trip to Kampala on Thursday, a GFA statement said.

The Black Stars will round up the campaign with a home game against Togo after the game with Uganda.
