My son inherited my attitude – Shatta Wale’s father

Shatta-Father-660x330Mr. Charles Mensah, the father of the self-acclaimed dance hall king, Shatta Wale says his son did not only inherit his name but inherited his attitude as well.

He said this during an interview with Mark Okraku Mantey on the controversial ‘E-punch’ show on Hitz FM.

Asked what he made of his son’s attitude towards Charterhouse, organizers of the Ghana Music Awards and owners of GhOne TV, Mr. Mensah said he wasn’t troubled by his son fighting for his rights in the industry.

“I’m not disturbed by my son fighting for his rights and as a father all I need to do is advise him about how to go about it,” he said.

He said they are from a family that hates cheating, adding no member of the family would allow anybody to advantage of them.

“My son is like me because I personally dislike cheating,” he said.

The controversial musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr. aka Shatta Wale descended heavily on Charterhouse in series of videos he released online accusing them of being corrupt.

The events outfit, Charter House and its CEO, Mr. Iyiola Ayoade sued the dancehall artiste GHc10 million as damages for the defamatory comments made in the videos which were uploaded on social media platform, Facebook.

“He is my son and we are trying hard to solve that issue,” he added.
