NDC congress: Big Aidoo’s brother pulled gun on me – defeated Chairman reveals

timthumbBrother of newly elected Western Region chairman of the National Democratic Congress is accused of allegedly pulling a gun on the defeated Chairman Nana Toku.

Speaking to Philip OseiBonsu, the host of the Jolly Breakfast Show (JBS), Nana Toku said when he demanded for a recount of the total ballot cast, the brother of Michael Aidoo hailed as Big Aidoo, the newly elected chairman of the party pulled a gun on him for exercising his right.

Appearing shocked, Osei Bonsu who was at the Golden Hotel in Bogoso where the elections were held asked the former chairman when and where the incident occurred. In his answer, NanaToku said “when I demanded for the recounting, the brother of Big Aidoo went to take the gun from the car of Big Aidoo and the police took it from him upon seeing him.”

In the elections, Michael Aidoo popularly known as Big Aidoo pulled 133 to beat NanaToku, who had 126.
