Controversial Dancehall artiste Shatta wale has said that he has received “good counsel” from the Ashanti regional Police Commander, DCOP Kofi Boakye.
“….I had good counsel from the Regional Commander Kofi Boakye. Thanks for your wise counsel Commander1,” he wrote on his Facebook, Thursday.
He, however, did not disclose the nature of the conversation.
The “Shatta Movement king” was in Kumasi in the Ashanti region to visit his incarcerated colleague, Kwaw Kese, who is facing charges for publicly smoking a substance suspected to be weed.
“Just visited Kwaw Kesse and I thank God he is hale and hearty… He is being treated well and I thank the Ghana Police and Prison service for that,” Shatta noted.
‘Abodam’ has been remanded into prison custody for two weeks after he was charged with the unlawful use of the substance. He is expected to reappear in court on December 8, 2014.
