PHOTOS: Prez. Mahama arrives in Kenya

President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in the Kenyan capital, to honour an invitation by President Uhuru Kenyatta for a three-day state visit and  serve as a Special Guest of Honour at Kenya’s 51st Independence anniversary celebrations (or Jamhuri) Day on Friday, December 12.
 
President Mahama and his delegation of top officials were received at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by Deputy President William Ruto, Ghana’s High Commissioner to Kenya, Kingsley Karimu and other dignitaries.
 
The President inspected a Guard of Honour at the airport and watched a cultural display by groups of Kenyan performers.
In addition to his role in the Kenyan independence celebrations, President Mahama will hold bilateral talks with his host President Kenyatta, who is the current Chair of the East Africa Community, EAC.
Ghana and Kenya are expected to sign some agreements in areas including, Trade, Tourism, Agriculture, Communications, Investments and ICTs.
 
President Mahama will conclude his three-day state visit to Kenya on Sunday, 14th December 2014.
