Two Pastors of the Bantama Seventh Day Adventist(SDA) church in the Ashanti Region were attacked by armed robbers last Tuesday.
The pastors, Felix Nimako Boansi and Moses Abankwa Ntiamoah who are the District and Associate Pastors of the SDA Church respectively, were heading towards Traboum to grace the 2014 Annual Youth Camp of the Bantama District of the SDA when they suffered the attack.
It was reported that at around 7.25pm last Tuesday, road users who found themselves on the Kumasi-Twedie road were subjected to the attack.
While Pastor Nimako Boansi and his two sons were ordered to surrender their belongings at gun point, Pastor Abankwa Ntiamoah for the fear of losing his life had to leave personal belongings behind and run from his vehicle to take cover in the bush.

This is not the first armed robbery attack to hit the region.

The robbers who attacked the Abropo Ecobank Branch Manager at his residence shot him and made away with an unspecified amount of money.
