The inside story of KKD’s rape allegation

1.1939724Kwesi Kyei Darkwah, known in showbiz as KKD has been arrested by Airport Police for allegedly raping a 19-year-old model. According to www.233times.net sources at the Police Station, the Broadcaster raped the model at the suite of the plush African Regent Hotel popularly known as ‘Hotel Kufour.’

“Yes, somebody has made a rape allegation but it is actually false the story is ridiculous…It is not true that he has raped anybody. He had a consensual relationship with a woman and for some reason – I don’t know and I don’t care what her motive is – she now claims it’s rape but that is false,” KKD’s Lawyer, Nana Asante Bediatuo.

“There were other people around and it’s difficult for me to understand how a person can be forced to have sexual relations and the people around won’t hear cries or shouts for help,” he stated.

A “shocked” and completely “disorganized” KKD, is currently being held at the Airport police station while investigations continue, the Lawyer added.

According to the laws of Ghana, rape is not a non-bailable offence.
