Why is Okyeame Kwame praising me after all these years? Nana Ama McBrown

202568623_496753“She (Nana Ama McBrown) was the number one actress in town at the time and became my friend and one thing led to the other and we started a relationship and she was so instrumental to my solo career. She used to drive me around every part of Ghana. And because she was already here in Ghana she had great relationship with presenters and agenda populists,” Okyeame Kwame had praised Actress Nana Ama McBrown in an earlier interview.

Reacting to the Okyeame Kwame’s eulogy on ‘Penpenaa’ on Spice 91.9 FM, Nana Ama McBrown wondered why it has taken Okyeame Kwame so many years to come out this kind. There was rumour that, Nana Ama’s relationship with Okyeame Kwame wasn’t successful because she cheated on the self-acclaimed Best Rapper Alive (BRA).

Since that rumour inundated the media, Okyeame Kwame went mum and never refuted this rumour. Even though Nana Ama McBrown did not mention that to Feeling Daddy, the host of Penpenaa when asking why it has taken BRA that long to speak well of her, every discerning listener could connect the bitterness in the arguably best Actress’ response to the rumour.

When the host spoke to Okyeame Kwame on the same show, reacting to what Nana Ama asked, the elder brother of Kunta Kinte and Flowking Stone said no interviewer has asked him about Nana Ama McBrown until his recent interview on Starr FM in Accra where he eulogized the screen goddess. According to Okyeame Kwame, he would have said this to any interviewer if he was asked of their relationship and her contribution to his solo career.
