PHOTOS: Black Stars face Guinea in AFCON quater finals

Ghana will face Guinea in the quarterfinals of the 2015 African Cup of Nations, CAF has revealed after a draw in Malabo.

After their final group match ended 1-1, Guinea and Mali were still tie on goals and points and a draw was needed to decide the team that will make it to the next round in accordance of article74.

The ballot which was held at the Malabo Hilton, had the two teams put in balls with numbers 2 and 3.

Coach Avram Grant’s side will take on the Guineans at the Estadio De Malabo on Sunday February at 16:00 GMT.

Ghana was in the same group with Guinea in the qualifying stage of the competition with the Black Stars winning 3-1 at home after a 1-1 draw in the first leg played in Morocco.
