1 year on: Where is Suweiba’s baby?

Suwaiba-Abdul-620x400-620x330One year is on and Suweiba Abdul Moomen is yet to know the where about of her missing baby at the Komfo Anokye Hospital in Kumasi.

Suweiba who was promised a positive outcome from Ministry of Health, headed by Hon. Sherry Ayittey then has not received any communication from the Ministry. Neither have the police given her any information nor parliament who also came in to help find the body of the baby.

“The leaders have failed me. They feigned interest in helping me but they abandoned the case half way. If my baby died his body should be produced,” Suweiba said in an interview.

The hopeful Suwieba says the family will pursue the matter till the body of her baby is produced.

GHC 50,000 compensation was promised from an anonymous source which was rejected by the family of Suweiba. In that same month when Suweiba’s baby went missing, other bodies of about 4 stillborn babies were also reported missing.
