Aspiring UCC SRC President should be disqualified and arrested

Social media freaks by now have seen a video from the prestigious University of Cape Coast (UCC) circulating around and if the recipient had it from a friend, there would be details of the video. “Herh it’s all over the school, she is aspiring to be the SCR President o” a close female friend detailed me after sending me 3 ‘hot’ videos which is enough to make any voyeur’s day.

Her name is Nana Abena Kokor Addo, a curvaceous good looking lady who is offering Biomedical and Forensic Science (such an envious course). Every discerning individual would doff his/her hat off for this lady whose is an epitome of ‘beauty with brains’ until the 3^rd and 4^th videos are seen and one would wonder if she is possessed by a spell from the 77 gods in Cape Coast.

In the first two videos which is on about 1 million Ghanaian youth’s devices, she is seen dancing in her luxurious hostel room and eventually ends up showing off her ‘beauty-pageant-like assets.’ Most people who saw the first two videos sympathized with her until the subsequent releases came to confirm her type. In the third video, she is seen at the basement of a hall dancing to ‘Megye wo girl’ by Sarkodie and Shatta Wale. “Ah she dey mad? Nana Chale this thing e no b normal o, e family people dey worry am I tell you” a superstitious friend whom I watched the videos with quickly attributed the actions/inactions of Abena Kokor to the evil spirits.

Thinking that as an aspiring Students Representative Council (SRC) President, such videos could defame her and affect her chances greatly she proudly posits in a new video, “I won’t do any blame game, nobody paid me nothing, I posted everything myself! I’m not on drugs, they can come and test my blood; what is my course, Biomedical and Forensic Science, check background before you act.”

Is Abena Kokor aware indecent exposure is a crime in Ghana and she could/should be arrested? Is she aware the type of image she is painting about the University which is widely respected by people all over the world? Is she aware if she wins this race she sends a signal to the world about that type of students who are registered in the university? Is this her campaign strategy? Is this a future leader and role model?

I sighed in great relief when I found out that the aspirants have not yet been vetted. The vetting committee would have easy work when it gets to the turn of this ‘UCC Cleopatra.’

In her campaign poster, her motto is ‘Together we surge on.’ No Student with vision and interest of the University would surge on with her because clearly, her leadership is explained to every Ghanaian in his/her right state of mind.

Not only does her actions paint her as a ‘Kim-Kardashian-wanna-be,’ it is also execrable, preposterous, a shame and a sham.
