Julius Debrah is new Chief of Staff

President Mahama has appointed Mr. Julius Debrah as new Chief of Staff. Mr. Debrah was the Eastern Regional Chairman of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC). He was appointed head of the Ghana Tourist Board and later as Eastern Regional Minister.
Hon. Debrah was appointed Local Government Minister in 2014.
The new Chief of Staff will be deputised by Mr. Jonny Osei Kofi, a grassroots NDC member who served as government appointee in the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly in 2013.Mr. Osei Kofi, whilst lecturing at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, was appointed as a sub-committee member and served on the development planning sub-committee of the assembly.
