The name Mike Plein is one celebrated Ghanaian in Europe. The young Ghanaian who is noted for good music was tipped by www.233times.net visitors in Europe about the waves the young talent is making outside the country.
Celebrated as the voice of the urban streets, the Ghanaian born Adisadel College alumnus Rapper in an interview with this medium revealed all there is to know about him.
“I had the name ‘PLEIN’ from my Dutch mate from infancy who encouraged me to enter into music back in 2006. Mike is the short form of my first name Michael. And before I forget, I rep Tema,C11 precisely.” Mike Plein explained the origin of his stage name.
Mike Plein who says even though he is not in Ghana, he is not compelled to do songs in English language only. His upcoming mixtape and a possible album according to him will explain that. On what to expect from the upcoming projects, Mike Plein revealed that, he has some big Ghanaian stars and some foreign Acts on most of the songs.
‘GSL (gotta show some luv)’ the latest release by Mike Plein details the ups and downs of contemporary relationships. The song which is already projected as a chat topper was produced by Stephskillie from the camp of Kwaw Kese.
Mike Plein mentions that, he feels a heavy responsibility to change the music scene in Ghana. “Even though Ghanaian musicians are doing so well, with more international shows and featuring; I must commend them for that but there are so much to be done too” Mike Plein said.
