Pope Skinny wants attention: This is what you get for your ‘Asuoden’

skinnyHe has tried all avenues to get a ‘Barrack Obama’ attention but to no avail. He was even mistaken for a Blogger or Reporter because he is always in a hurry to break news; Ronnie Coache’s death is an example. His name is Pope Skinny, a failed Artiste who is struggling to revive his defunct talent.

Yesterday on his Facebook page, Pope Skinny mentioned that’

“Very soon all the truth will come out, fake people will be exposed soon. Stealing songs to make a hit, big example is Guru. Guru is fake, p***y a** ni**err. He claims all the fetish priest and idols in his hometown they back him, idiot. You want war, you get war, you want beef, am gonna cook one for you to eat”.

The rapper continued that, “Guru you know why I’ve been quiet for a longtime after that s**t you did, it’s because I can’t stop thinking why you did that. I thought we were cool but not knowing you are a ‘snake under gras’. Fake people like you are evil and God will expose you one day. You alone won eat rite? selfish id*** going around spoiling people and coming back smiling and pretending to them. That your gods will deal with you if you don’t stop the bulls**t. kwasia boy.”

He could not mention which song of his Guru has stolen, perhaps he was fighting for the Brong Ahafo Artistes who accuse Guru of stealing their songs, yes, Pope Skinny ‘Nana Oye Lithur ‘.

There is a popular Akan axiom that “when the elephant falls, all animals get access to it.” Guru is one Artiste who is always tainted and defamed when Ghana Music Awards is nearer for a reason best known to the defamers. Ghana Music Awards is only two months away so it makes sense when the stories about Guru start erupting.

Pope Skinny who has tried effortlessly to become popular to the extent of releasing a song to ‘mock’ the KKD alleged rape incident is using Guru as a spring board now to gain his long awaited fame, for his information, the stealing of songs labelled Guru is a cliché now.

Down to memory lane, Pope Skinny’s first song, ‘Odo bra’ with Castro was successful because of the Castro factor then. Fast forward, his ‘Wa Shatta me’ and ‘Hot cake’ would not have even enjoyed airplay on his own show (Kasahare on Adom FM) if not Shatta Wale’s presence on the song. He is either siamesed to get a hit or he ‘masturbates’ on his own show to be heard.

There are so many ways to be popular but Pope Skinny is not accessing other avenues. He could make good commercial songs which would get him great airplay on other airwaves aside his show, he could start making appearances on Afia Schwazeneggar to be seen, he could start his ‘Kasahare’ show on TV or better yet start a TV Show with his up and coming talents.

Efforts to reach Pope Skinny on phone yesterday proved futile as he was refusing to answer all calls. Talking to Guru, he mentioned that, he has no idea why his “brother” is doing that. And that he and him have been under same Manager before so they are that close. If for anything, he could reach him on phone rather than going on social media to vent his spleen. Guru had no idea why the ‘Akuapim Rapper’ was attacking him on social media.

He wanted attention and we gave him that, he needs it right, “n’asuoden oo!”
