Known in real life as George Oteng Mensah, Papa Staunch, a Ghanaian Songster residing in USA is making Ghana proud in President Obama’s land. The alumnus of Kumasi High School and Tweneboa Kodua Secondary School, started music way back in Ghana.

Speaking to www.233times.net , Papa Staunch mentioned that “I want to change the trend in Ghana music and it is something I am preoccupied with now. For some time, all songs I heard from Ghana were sounding one way and I was prompted to bring the change.”

Papa Staunch said he is working on other songs aside his hit song ‘Boss.’ The single ‘Boss’ is enjoying massive play amongst Ghanaians in America. According to Papa Staunch, 50 Cent and Reggie Rockstone are his role models and if he is to collaborate with any Ghanaian Artiste, he would do that with Sarkodie and Obrafour.

The prolific Rapper Papa Staunch likes black, red and white and enjoys fufu and goat soup. Papa Staunch is under Kingrich Media Production and in Ghana, he is represented by 2Bond Entertainment.
