A Ghanaian music producer nearly met his untimely death at the hands of an upcoming musician when he abruptly terminated a two-year contract to manage the suspect’s music career.
The suspect – Tejeh Terry, 24, and Simon Terry, 26, unemployed – conspired to kill Nana Nyarko Afriyie when he no longer expressed interest in managing Tejeh.
Tejeh and Simon were said to have allegedly conspired to kill Nana and set his house ablaze, aside stealing his valuables.
Unfortunately for the two, word got to the police that two males were looking for guns to hire to kill Nana.
The Accra Region Police Crime Officer, Chief Superintendent Paul Kontomah, stated that plain-clothed officers were dispatched to arrest the two upon tip-off.
The plain-clothed men met the two suspects on their way to strike and pretended to be interested in the deal but later arrested them.
Tejeh and Simon are now in the grips of the police assisting with investigations.
Meanwhile, Nana is said to have terminated the contract based on personal reasons. The contract was signed in Nigeria last year between Nana and Tejeh.
