Outside Ghana, particularly Europe and America, when you tell someone that he has put on weight, it is a heart-rending statement and some people according to reports commit suicide for being called ‘fat’ or obese but in Ghana, if you tell someone same thing, it will make the day of the person.

In Ghana, losing weight is synonymous with poverty and gaining weight is a sign of good living. That is why many people on social media are not convinced that Rapper Asem is alright. A picture of Asem circulated online and in the picture, Asem has drastically lost weight. Many people even thought that was a #ThrowBack picture of him but it appears that, the Rapper has lost weight which according to him is a dream come true.

He has been off the scene for some years now and many people are having the impression that, since he was doing music as a full time job without any other supplementary income, he is broke and that has made him lose weight, making him look like he is blowing a perpetual whistle.

Some fans have even offered to help Asem with herbal medicine if he makes what is disturbing him known, some have offered a free psychological help if his struggling to come back is his worry. Simply put, there have been scads of helping-hands to Asem should he make his worry known to them.

The unperturbed Asem has made known that ““To when it all started before the money and the fame, before we got on some unhealthy lifestyle and put on too much weight. I’ve always wanted to go back to the healthy trim dude I was created to be , so grateful to almighty for giving me the strength to overcome. Y’all can say whatever y’all want , spread false rumours as much as y’all want , I appreciate it all , bring it on I beg of you keep me in the news keep talking about ASEM I need it , we are in this together.”
