I won’t be at #DumsorMustStop vigil because ….. – Stonebwoy

1.2788533Artiste of the year at the 2015 VGMA, Stonebwoy has revealed that he would not attend the #Dumsormuststop vigil to be staged by colleague celebrities on May 16th.

The dancehall and reggae artiste speaking on Accra-based Kasapa FM said he won’t be present at the much publicized event because he would have to attend an event which he would be staging on the same day.

“Unfortunately, I won’t be there because that is the same day I am holding my event…,” he said.

The vigil which is expected to attract large crowds has been the subject of many controversial debates with organisers having to cross three different hurdles towards achieving a successful programme.

Reports, however, indicate that the organizers have received the green light to go on with the event.

However, despite claiming he can’t make it to the event, the rapper said it would be better for the orgnaisers to channel their energies into helping solve the crisis.
