I’m a celeb at Wono so I’ll Join #DumsorMustStop vigil – Sir John

1.3718894Leader of the up-coming celebrity’s #DumsorMustStop Vigil, Yvonne Nelson might not have endorsed the New Patriotic Party [NPP] as her favorite but some members of the opposition party are willing to join her campaign against Ghana’s unending power crisis christened as “Dumsor”.

Former NPP Chief Scribe, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie has insisted that he holds a celebrity status in his hometown, Wonoo, therefore have every right to join the vigil schedule on May 16, 2015 in Accra.

He explained that, his reason to join the campaign is to voice the sentiments of the inhabitants of the Kwabre East town where is comes from.

“I’m a celebrity at Wonoo and I will go to represent the entire township of Sokora Wonoo at the vigil,” he announced on Adom FM.

The #DumsorMustStop Vigil has been facilitated by some celebrities who have been affected by the frustrating power outage which is yet to be resolved by the Mahama-led administration after numerous promises.

The vigil will be led by award winning actress, Yvonne Nelson, rapper Sarkodie, actress Lydia Forson, Comedian DKB among others.
