Sekondi-Takoradi MCE fingered in GHc800, 000 land scandal?

There has been a revelation to www.233times.net that, a 9 acre land belonging to the royals of New Takoradi is allegedly sold by the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE), Capt. Anthony Cudjoe (RTD) to GHACEM to be used as transport station.

On the Jolly Breakfast Show (JBS) on Skyy Power 93.5 FM this morning (18th May, 2015), Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson, a co-host gave a snippet of the story and did not mention of the name of the ‘big man’ (as he referred to) in question but www.233times.net ‘s diggings reveal that, the ‘big man’ is the MCE of the Metro..

A deep throat source revealed that, the land was sold for GHC800, 000. The aggrieved royals led by the stool Secretary, Nana Mensa have filed a petition in court to revert the ‘illegal’ sale of the property that has served as an abattoir (slaughter house as it is locally known) to the Metropolis for over 40 years.

The source further reveals that, the land was acquired by Nana Bosomakora II (Ex Takoradi Chief) in the 1970’s and released it temporary for free for rearing of cattle in the Metropolist until a permanent place would be acquired as an abattoir.

The royals are infuriated by the sale of the land to GHACEM after completion of a New Abbatoir at Whindo prompting the legal action.
