Ghanaian Rapper residing in America, Papa Staunch has added his voice to the trending Sark-Hood (Sarkodie-Ace Hood saga) saga saying even if Sarkodie paid; it is a good thing for Ghana Music.
Speaking to www.233times.net , Papa Staunch revealed that, if Ghanaians know how much American Rappers charge for collaboration, they will know that $25,000 was cheap and Sarkodie should take advantage of it. He wondered why this issue has become a big deal in Ghana saying “Even if he paid, it is a good thing for Ghana Music. This will attract the big names like Kanye, Wayne and others to know how our Artistes are doing and how talented they are.”
“If we look at the other side of it, this is one of the best things that we should celebrate as Ghanaians. This will sell out local music internationally and many of these big names here (USA) would want to take advantage of it and also penetrate our market” Papa Staunch educated.
Papa Staunch has called Ghanaians to support their own and that should start with Sarkodie’s collaboration with Ace Hood.
