Award winning American singer, Akon has splashed an undisclosed sum on strippers and a strip club after he settled their bills for a whole year.
According to the Lonely singer, the gesture was part of his Corporate Social Responsibilty as he was only giving back to the communities and the world at large.
Sharing a video of himself with wads of Dollar notes on his Instagram account, Akon wrote, ‘I think I might’ve overdid on this day. The strip club and the strippers in it paid their bills for the whole year!!! LOL. #givingback.‘
Meanwhile some of his followers and fans have lashed out at him for the move saying ‘You gave all that money to strippers???? I thought you are wiser than this.’
