Goil inferno: Bible left unburnt (PHOTO)

941153893_102036If you have ever look down the phrase “wonders will never cease“, then you need to have a second thought about the cliché used to express surprise and pleasure.

Matthew 5:18 reads, – “For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law [Bible] until everything is accomplished

And yes, the mission is not yet accomplished for the Bible to whittle away.

Last Wednesday June 3, 2015 will forever be recalled as the day Ghana recorded its deadliest flood disaster doubled with a fire explosion which occurred at the Goil filling station near Kwame Nkrumah circle killing over 200 commuter.

The entire edifice, vehicles and human beings were burnt without recognition but a book regarded as authoritative in its field survive the ‘hell-like’ flame.

Six [6] days after the disaster in the capital, [Accra], a Bible was pulled from the debris without a charred edge or leather cover burnt – the edges of the pages scorched but the burning stopped right where the words began -the other Bible was untouched by the fire.

The miraculously unburned bible was captured by Peacefmonline.com lens during a visit to the scene nearly a week to the day of the tragic incident.

The Bible is currently with the security personnel keeping guard at the place – “Someone told me that a Bible can’t be burned just wondering if it was divine intervention or plain luck”.
