I don’t use pomade again – Ama Boahemaa

10636123_10204237170361406_1489050281376343444_nAfter several months of her alleged skin bleaching, female gospel musician, Ama Boahemaa, has opened up about how what she calls ‘rumour’ has affected her life.

Ama who is currently based in Germany Ama Boahema in an interview with Adom FM said she felt bad when the story went viral and because of that, she stopped using pomade.

“I really felt bad after the reports emerged that I was bleaching, so I decided not to apply pomade to my skin again. I am somebody who listens to Adom FM daily…anytime I hear of the reports, I became troubled…one time a sibling tried to tune the radio off while they talked about me and my skin colour, but I told him to stop…,”

When Ama Boahemaa’s bleaching allegations hit the headline in November last year, she did all she could to deny attributing her dramatic change in complexion to her love for milk and also admits to ‘toning’ her skin.

She even threatened to sue anyone who accused her of bleaching her skin.

“I am not bleaching. I won’t deny the fact that the picture is mine but it does not look like me because the facial expression is different. I know that the person who took it has changed me totally. My lips have also changed.

“I don’t know why I should bleach. In fact I will sue the person if the picture is not removed from social media”, Ama disclosed in an interview in November last year when her bleaching allegation was boiling hot in the media.
