John Boye to return to Ajaccio

John-Boye-is-the-latest-to-withdraw-from-the-Ghana-squad-through-injuryGhana Defender John Boye is said to be ready for a return to the French Ligue 1 this upcoming season.

The centre-back only left Rennes in a free agent move to Kayseri Erciyesspor in the Turkish Super Lig last summer.

He scored twice in 23 league appearances but could not help the side avoid relegation from the top flight.

Top French media outfit, L’Equipe reports that the 28-year-old would happily take the chance to return to France after initial contacts with newly promoted side GFC Ajaccio.

Ajaccio who are interested in bolstering their squad with the Ghana international now have to convince Erciyesspor in buying him out of his remaining contract.
