NDC suspends Youth Organizer

Western Regional Youth Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Younos Mohammed has been suspended by the party for allegedly threatening to demonstrate against the Western Regional Minister, his Deputy and Mayor of Sekondi-Takoradi, Paul Evans Aidoo, Alfred Ekow Gyan and Capt. Rtd. Anthony Cudjoe respectively.

The embattled Regional Youth Organizer was suspended last Friday at the party’s office in Sekondi. Younous threatened the demonstration in an interview on Skyy Power FM’s flagship programme, Jolly Breakfast Show (JBS) and according to deep throats, the said interview was played at the party’s office as evidence to suspend him.

According to Younos Mohammed, the Western Regional Minister, his Deputy and the Mayor are not helping the course of the party in the Region and the special aide to the Minister, Michael Arthur is reportedly leaking confidential information and documents to some Journalists in the Region on the activities of the party.

According to our source present during the decision, the ruling was given in the absence of Younos who asked for permission to pray so he was informed after the party decided on his suspension.

Younos had earlier granted another interview to suspend the said demonstration.
