NPP seeking occult powers for Talensi by-election – Kofi Adams

i41ph76gfb_kofi_adamsKofi Adams, National Youth Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), has hinted that the Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party and his cohorts consulted a shrine to aid their parliamentary candidate vying for the Talensi seat.

Kofi Adams alleged that the NPP Regional Chairman and his entourage removed their shirts for apparent “occult purposes.”

According to him, if they had no ulterior motive for going to the Talensi constituency; they would have gone to interact with the residents without removing their shirts.

Pictures of the NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi-Boasiako going topless went viral on social media.

Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, popularly called Chairman Wontumi has been touring the Upper East Region on behalf of his party.

The tour is orchestrated to canvass for votes from the constituents for the party’s candidate during the July 7th Talensi by-election.

His visit to Geng-zuk in Talensi has raised suspicions as some members of the ruling party and pro-NDC newspapers purport the Regional Chairman sought occult powers to ensure the NPP candidate wins the seat.

When asked whether he believed the NPP was using occult powers, Kofi Adams in an interview with host Nana Yaw on Peace FM‘s “Kokrokoo“, stated emphatically that “they did. Didn’t you see the photos on social media? This is very clear. If you don’t know Wontumi, this is not photoshop. You can see clearly. The picture is very clear. You can see Nana Addo’s picture and the candidate’s picture…but this is not photoshop. You cannot use foul means to win a parliamentary seat.”

To him, the NPP will lose the Talensi seat whether they use a “shortcut” means or not.

“They know where they went. That is why they removed their shirts. If they had gone to the place to interact with the residents as a political party, nobody would tell them to remove their shirts before they go there.”
