PHOTOS: Gov’t sponsors stars to America

Selected Ghanaian stars mostly actors and actresses have been sent to America on the ticket of the government of Ghana.

The stars were reportedly part of a government delegation to the 27th anniversary of GHANAFEST in Chicago.

The delegation was led by Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare.

The minister traveled with the celebrities to represent President Mahama as the Key note speaker at Ghanafest 2015. Celebrities who attended the event with the minister were actress Vivian Jill Lawrence, Kwadwo Nkansah Liwin, James Gardner, Koo Fori, Mercy Asiedu, Emelia Brobbey, Papa Nii, MUSIGA President Bice Osei Kuffour and many others.

Even though the Public Relations department of the ministry has not released any official statement or pictures on the trip since they left Ghana on Friday July 24, 2015, the stars themselves have managed to put some images from the trip out.
