Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win always makes me happy – Prez. Mahama

Speaking on Unique FM Wednesday, the president revealed that he prefers Ghanaian movies to Nigeria movies adding that he only watches Ghanaian movies on board the Presidential Jet.

“I watch Nigerian movies and Ghanaian movies but I really like Lil Wayne because he always makes me happy. I also like Agya Koo, Jackie Appiah, John Dumelo. While I’m on the plane, travelling, I watch Ghanaian movies,” he said.

He however expressed interest in Shirley Frimpong-Manso’s movies and described her productions as ‘exceptional’.

“I even watched Shirley Frimpong-Manso’s ‘Perfect Picture’.

This is the first time Mahama, whose government has one of the industry’s own in Dzifa Gomashie, as Deputy Minister for Creative Arts, Culture and Tourism, is publicly making his views known on the industry.
