President John Dramani Mahama will today sign an agreement with Mauritius for the development of a US$260 million ICT enclave, which is expected to create in excess of 5,000 direct jobs.The visit will be an opportunity for the two countries to cement their bond of friendship and conclude trade discussions.
The two countries will, after bilateral talks today sign a number of Memoranda of Understanding/Agreements on bilateral cooperation.
President Mahama will hold discussions with the President of Mauritius, Dr. (Mrs) Ameenah Gurib-Fakim.
He will also grant audience to the Chief Justice Mr. Kheshoe Parsad Matadeen and the Leader of the Opposition, Mr. Paul Raymond Bérenger .
Prime Minister Anerood Jugnauth will host him at a banquet on Monday, while President Ameenah Gurib-Fakim will host a lunch in his honour on Tuesday.
