Takoradi: West Tanokrom aspiring Assembly member disqualified

An aspiring Assembly Member for West Tanokrom has been handed a last minute disqualification for falsifying his academic qualification. He stated A level instead of O level on his nomination form.

S.K Anderson who is the immediate past Assembly Member of the area was vying for his fourth term. His disqualification followed a petition filed by 3 registered voters in the Electoral Area.

The Regional EC Boss who confirmed this to Skyy Power FM’s Jolly Breakfast Show (JBS) says an official letter will be given to Anderson today from Accra.

Anderson who appears so devastated has admitted the offense but says it was a writing error. He’s yet to take a decision on the next line of action.
