Woman burns boyfriend’s penis with her hair straightener

hair_straighener_638_gettyA 22-year-old woman, who was given permission by her boyfriend to burn his penis with a hair straightener after he cheated on her, has received a suspended jail sentence.

The mutual agreement between the couple from Mount Barker, Victoria, saw the jealous girlfriend give her partner three degree burns after he spent two nights with his ex-girlfriend.

Applying the straightener for just a few seconds Bronwyn Joy Parker, told the police she thought it would only feel like sunburn, reported NT News.

Ms Parker pleaded guilty to the incident which occurred in December 2013 rand received a suspended nine month jail sentence upon entering an 18-month good behaviour bond.

During the sentencing the District Court Judge, Paul Muscat, struggled to comprehend the matter of the court case saying it was an unusual situation.

‘In short, his penis will be scarred for life and he will suffer from a number of issues, including the proper function of his penis, not to mention the cosmetic and psychological problems associated with the scarring to such a sensitive site,’ Judge Muscat said.

Ms Parker met her victim on Facebook and as the relationship developed it turned turbulent.

The judge recognised the jealous nature of Ms Parker and the troubled relationship, which saw her initially planning to burn her boyfriend’s testicles.

‘You regularly abused him, including physically, if you suspected, or, if he admitted to being unfaithful to you. You were particularly jealous of his association with his ex-girlfriend,’ he said.

Interviewed by police after the incident took place Ms Parker said she wasn’t aware of the damage she would cause.

‘To start off with, it looked brown around the outside and it didn’t look too bad, it just looked as if you had cooked a piece of meat,’ she told police.

Describing the damage of his penis including blisters and discoloration, the victim admitted he was too embarrassed to seek medical treatment straight away.
