I want my money back- Sarkodie demands from owner of alleged stolen car

969267_10202031247456844_491827611_nCounsel for renowned Ghanaian Hiplife Artiste, Michael Owusu Addo popularly called Sarkodie in showbiz, Mr. Moses Foa Amoaning has revealed his client is demanding a complete refund of monies paid to owners of the controversial Infiniti cross country vehicle.

Though he has admitted his client bought the vehicle under controversy, he maintains it is not stolen but insists they are exploring every means available to retrieve monies they paid to the supposed owners who imported the vehicle into the country in 2013.

According to him, documents covering the vehicle have been established to be genuine with the duty at the time fully paid wondering why the police were making it look like his client had corroborated with criminals to flout the laws of the country.

In his view, a disagreement among family members is what triggered the case being lodged with the police which resulted in his client being made a victim of circumstance.

“Sarkodie paid monies to one Ishmael Amponsah and we want our money back so they can go and solve their family problems.”

Mr. Foa Amoaning however stated that they were fully cooperating with the police who are investigating the matter expressing optimism that his client will soon be vindicated when the outcome of the investigations are made public.

He also denied that Sarkodie was arrested as claimed by the section of the media maintaining that they willingly went to the police to state their case with evidence and were told to go until such a time when they may be required to aid in investigating the matter.
