Mavin records ‘first lady’, Tiwa Savage, has openly said she never enjoyed the whole challenges that come with pregnancy.
She said though it is the same challenge every woman goes through, hers was worrisome as according to her, she had high blood pressure and the pregnancy was overdue by about eight days before she was induced to labour.
Narrating how the journey was, the singer who was recently delivered of a baby boy in a chat with Nigeriafilms.com, said, “Well, it’s a condition some women have towards the end of their pregnancy.
“For me, it was a period where I had high blood pressure, my feet got terribly swollen and I could hardly walk. Plus, my baby was long overdue by about 7-8 days, I was so scared, but if I didn’t mention it, no one will know. Its better to keep shut because media people can blow things out of proportion a whole lot of times.
“At the end, they decided to induce me to labour because they were worried about my condition. It was a painful ordeal but I thank God everything went well,” she added.
