President John Dramani Mahama is touting the virtues of his wife Lordina, describing her as an inspiration in his life.
Mahama in a Facebook post commended his better half over her generosity after making some donations to two orphanages in Accra.
“Around this time of the year, we don’t only celebrate, we also look out for those who are less fortunate, those who are weak or lonely,” Mahama said in the post. “This, my brothers and sisters, is a time of sharing. Because the more we share, the more we have.”
He added: “God blessed me with a wife who inspires me every day. I am humbled by her dedication to less privileged children, by her love for these little souls, by her unbridled hope in their future.
“I am very proud of her initiative to always join and share with orphanages across the country. I hope she will inspire many more to do same. God bless you, Lordina!”
His wife’s organization – the Lordina Foundation – donated items including bags of rice, cartons of milo and milk, gallons of oil, boxes of tomato paste, chocolates, assorted drinks, biscuits, clothes and toys to the Osu Children’s Home and the Christ Faith Children’s Home.
