Outspoken actress, Yvonne Nelson says most Ghanaians are timid.
“I think it is time Ghanaians speak up. Speaking up in Ghana is a problem, most of us do not like to talk and it saddens me that we are like that. We should learn to speak up,” she said when she was asked why she is so passionate of things happening in Ghana.
Yvonne revealed in an interview on a special edition of Route919 on Live 91.9 FM.
She founded the Yvonne Nelson Glaucoma Foundation in 2010 to help create awareness about the disease. With support from other Ghanaian celebrities, she recorded an all-star charity single, and shot a video to help educate people.
Yvonne Nelson participated in the Miss Ghana 2005 Beauty Pageant, she won the Best Talent award, “Miss Photogenic”and two other awards.
