I’m not dead – Jake Obetsebi Lamptey speaks

wpid-670x335xjakeobetsebilampteyjpgpagespeedicU2XzXQEscTRumours were rife on social media, Wednesday, that former National Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Jake Obetsebi Lamptey has passed away.

Mr. Obetsebi Lamptey wondered why “people go out of their way to manufacture idiotic stories when there are so many serious stories that concern our country that are going on that people should be concerned with…it shows futility of what goes on on social media unfortunately.”

He spoke in an interview from South Africa with sit in host of ‘kokrokoo’, Nana Yaw Kesse, Thursday morning after rumours went viral on Social Media previous night that he had passed away.

NPP’s former General Secretary, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie aka Sir John had earlier denied the rumour on Hello FM, Wednesday evening.
