Amakye Dede finally hears of his Manager’s death

795949659_787451Legendary Amakye Dede was in uncontrollable tears after being informed about the death of his manager this afternoon.

Amakye Dede together with his Manager, Isaac Yeboah and his bodyguard were involved in a fatal accident at Bunsu Junction in the Eastern region, January 2.

Reports say the Highlife giant was billed to perform at Paradise, a rest stop near the Bonsu Junction in the region but a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter bus slammed into his vehicle.

A source said Amakye had reentered his car to change for the show but the sprinter bus rammed into the vehicle. Isaac Yeboah and the musician’s bodyguard were standing in front of Amakye’s car at that moment.

The Sprinter bus was avoiding a taxi that had entered its lane but unfortunately smashed into Amakye’s car.

Amakye Dede sustained injuries in the accident while his bodyguard was left in a critical condition but Isaac Yeboah died on the spot.

Doctors at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, where Amakye is receiving treatment withheld the bad news from him to hasten his recovery.

Sources tell Myjoyonline.com that the condition of the musician has improved greatly and relatives decided to break the sad news to him. He was left in uncontrollable tears after.

The body of the deceased Myjoyonline.com gathers will be brought to Accra and later sent to Takoradi for burial.
